Robin Williams was found dead last Monday. Yesterday, it was not officially announced if the cause of death of the actor-comedian was suicide.
But today, a tweet form Megan Hansen on August 13, 2014, 2:15 AM, said that the cause of Peter Man star is asphyxia due to hanging.

It's believed only Mr. Williams and his wife were at the home. No children at the home. The wife returned when she learned of his death.

EliteDaily said that the comedian-actor hanged himself from a closet door using a belt. According to source, he also attempted suicide by trying to cut his wrists, but only resulted in an "acute superficial cut" before he hanged himself.
Williams' personal assistant found his body yesterday morning, and called authorities shortly.
The sheriff's department gave a statement that a toxicology report will be performed to see if the late actor was under the influence of any drugs or alcohol when he committed suicide
The tests results won't be available for two to six weeks.
Reportedly, the 63-year-old actor had been battling severe depression and it appears he succumbed to his inner demons, according to EliteDaily.
Her daughter Zelda Williams posted a quote on Instagram as tribute for her late father.
