"The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers hint of a drastic change in the Penny's life as the salaries of the casts come under scrutiny.

Kaley Cuoco dished out potential "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers to Women's Health magazine that next season could spell wedding bells for Penny.

"I'm hoping next season will involve a lot of wedding stuff, I think that would be really fun. If I had to guess, Leonard is probably more of the planner than Penny, which would be very funny," she said. "Everyone's growing up a little bit."

Both Penny and Leonard (Johnny Galecki) announced their engagement in the season 7 finale, which triggered off a chain of events that culminated in Jim Parson's character going off to somewhere. However, the Entertainment Weekly earlier said that there's not going to be any wedding in season 8.

Showrunner Steve Molaro revealed "The Big Bang Theory" season 8 spoilers during the San Diego Comic-Con that no wedding bells are scheduled in the near future.

"A wedding is sometime off in the future. They're not in a rush," he said.

But is Penny going to be pregnant at least?

"Penny's first goal is to put the date far enough in the future so everyone knows for a fact that she's not pregnant," the executive producer said.

Meanwhile, The Globe and Mail's John Doyle scrutinized the $1 million per episode salaries of Kaley Cuoco, Jim Parsons and Johnny Galecki, as well as the $70 million that Simon Helberg and Kunal Nayyar will be getting during the duration of the three-year contract. But he said it's all par for the course.

"The salaries of the five big earners look less obscene in the context of what The Big Bang Theory earns for Warner Bros TV. Even with those payouts to the actors, the show is expected to earn at least $1-billion for the company over the 10 seasons. Possibly, twice that amount," he said.
