Destiny Beta chacter wipe is now making the headlines as players feel bad about the loss of their guardians/characters. Weeks ago, this game version has already shut its doors to all the gamers and everyone has to wait until its official release on September 9.
As to why players can't save their previous game progress,Bungie wrote on its recent blog:
"Your Beta characters won't transfer to the final version of Destiny. The vaults have been cleaned out, too. Step away from this update and take a walk. Have a good cry, or howl at the Moon. We'll be here when you're done...This is the last time we'll ask you to part with your hero. On September 9th, you can create a Guardian who will keep you company for a good, long time. On a long-enough timeline, you might decide to delete him or her and start over again - but that will be your call to make."
Well apparently acceptance is the only way to get through this, Destiny players.
"The Beta has been eye-opening so far." This was the pronouncement made by Bungie during the end of this version.
"We've watched the world of Destiny come to life. Guardians from every platform have arrived at the Tower from their battles in the wild. We have watched your adventures with great interest, and listened to your feedback. Your missions have provided us with volumes of discoveries we can use to prepare for the launch of Destiny in September," the developer added.
From the creators of the critically acclaimed 'Halo' series, Bungie is poised to experience similar success when this upcoming game.
