Good news Assassin's Creed fans! New gameplay details and trailer for Assassin's Creed Unity have been revealed.

Ubisoft has showcased the new trailer of Assassin's Creed Unity in Gamescom 2014, and it features the impressive graphics and designs of Paris, France within the game.

Aside from the trailer, there are also new gameplay details for Assassin's Creed Unity. According to reports from The Fuse Joplin, Ubisoft creative director Alex Amancio stated that that players will now be able to reach any wall or ledge without having to focus their character. The movement will be more fluid than ever and one of the most extensive new additions is the ‘parkour down’ feature. This will allow players to climb down without difficulty which has been a frustrating task in previous games. The Assassin will also have multiple stances now, including a stealth mode, where he crouches when moving and a new AI camera that automatically switches according to the players position.

New pre-order bonuses have also been revealed. These are the "Guillotine Spin-to-Win Game" which features different prizes such as exotic trips, entertainment prizes, games & digital content, and exclusive apparel & gear, each time a contestant wins every Friday and a new side mission called "The Chemical Revolution Mission".

It was revealed before that a new female character named Elise will join the game as one its central characters. Elise is a young noblewoman who is keen to establish herself within the Templar order. Although she and Arno stand on opposite sides of an age-old conflict, a bond forms between them.

Polygon has reported that Elise will also star in a new Assassin's Creed novel with the same title as the game, a book by Oliver Bowden that will be published in paperback by Penguin Random House. Written from Elise's perspective, the book will focus on the battle between the Templars and Assassins, and the roles that she and Arno play in that fight.

So what do you think of the new updates in Assassin's Creed Unity?
