They do start them out young over there at the Kardashian universe. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's daughter has just made her modeling debut at just 13 months old. The new North West baby photo appeared on the pages of CR Fashion book for its fall issue.

According to the magazine which was founded by Carine Roitfeld, who is also the editor in chief, baby North West is the youngest model ever to appear in the publication's history.

The magazine shows a black and white North West baby photo, and she is posing with the iconic 2.55 quilted Chanel bag. She is wearing a cashmere sweater, a camellia broche and pearl earrings. A quote that accompanies the image reads, "It's never too early to care about fashion," Karl Lagerfeld (head designer and director at Chanel).

North West is just one among those featured as the new style icons as curated by the CR fashion book, which is published twice a year by Vogue Paris editor in chief Carine Roitfeld.

According to the magazine, the North West baby picture is included in their feature, because it predicts a bright fashion future for the already famed daughter of Kanye and past cover star, Kim. The photo was taken by Michael Avedon, the grandson of iconic fashion photographer Richard Avedon. Michael recently also shot Emma Ferrer, Audrey Hepburn's granddaughter for the pages of Harper Bazaar magazine's September issue.

Baby North West has already appeared in a fashion magazine before. She was spotted on the pages of Vogue US with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West in a previous issue. But this feature is her first solo photoshoot.

Kim has talked about her babies penchant for posing for the cameras at such a young age. According to the Today show, Kim says, "Every time there is a camera out and paparazzi ... she does this either mean angry Kanye face or a pose," "She'll be cracking up and then the second the camera comes on she makes the pose."
