Lee Jin Wook traveled back into his own past during the 2013 drama "Nine: Nine Time Travels" and he is currently visiting the Joseon era for his role in the drama "The Three Musketeers." But that will not be the end of his experiences visiting the past. This week he confirmed his role in the new film titled "Time Renegade."

"Time Renegade," also known as "Time Escapee," is the story of a man from the past and a man from the present who attempt to change a woman's destiny. Lee Jim Wook will play the man based in the present. Jo Jung Suk plays the man in the past. Lim Soo Jung plays the woman they both want to help.

Descriptions of the drama plot do not say whether the woman wants to be helped or why they are helping her. Nor does it say if their efforts are productive or damaging. Or if their efforts cancel each other out?

In "Nine: Nine Time Travels," Lee Jin Wook's character paid repeated visits to the past to try to prevent a tragedy that ruined the lives of his family members, but every trip created new problems that required yet another trip to resolve. However, "Nine" was so successful that it is being adapted for American television. K-drama actress Yunjin Kim, who starred in the American TV series "Lost" and "Mistresses," will produce the American version.

Lee Jin Wook followed his time travel drama with a comic role in the successful film "Miss Granny." That film sold 8.65 million tickets. He also appeared in the action film "The Target," which sold 2.83 million tickets. In his current drama, "The Three Musketeers" Lee Jin Wook plays Crown Prince So Hyun. The three-season drama is loosely based on the Alexander Dumas novel.

Jo Jung Suk recently appeared in two successful and critically acclaimed films, "The Face Reader" and "Fatal Encounter." He recently finished shooting yet another film, "My Love, My Bride" with Shin Min Ha. He also appears in the musical "Blood Brothers," which runs through September.

Im Soo Jung was last seen in the film "Secret Temptation" with co-star Yoo Yeon Suk. Primarily a drama actress, as she has not appeared on the small screen since the 2004 series "I'm Sorry I Love You."

Director Kwak Jae Yong previously directed the hit films "My Sassy Girl" and "Classic." The film begins shooting in September.
