Nick Diaz news features the elder Diaz brother's satisfaction with his new UFC contract, while company president Dana White believes that "MMA's Bad Boy" does not enjoy fighting.

In late-July. The 31-year old Stockon, California native inked a new three-fight deal with the UFC, at the company's headquarters in Las Vegas. The signing was done in the presence of president Dana White and CEO Lorenzo Fertita.

Diaz last fought in March 2013 in a five-round welterweight title fight against former champion Georges St-Pierre. After losing via unanimous decision, the controversial fighter opted to take an indefinite break from fighting.

Nick Diaz news also reveals that during the time of his hiatus, Diaz and the UFC have been on a stalemate in terms of coming up with an agreement for a next fight, mainly because of fighter salary issues.

But in his most recent interview with ESPN.com, Diaz was completely satisfied with his new deal.

"I can't complain," Diaz answered. "I can't ask for anything more. I'm happy with the deal I made."

The former Strikeforce champion, however, showed concern towards his fellow fighters, whom he believes are not being properly compensated.

"It's hard out there, especially when the rest of these guys aren't getting paid what they should and they're sitting around and can't open their mouths," Diaz continued. "A lot of them have a life on the side and it's very different for a lot of people."

Nick Diaz news reveals that while the MMA welterweight veteran has been actively competing since 2001, he does not enjoy fighting. He himself admitted it in an interview with MMA Mania early this month.

"When people say they go out there to hurt someone, or they love it, they are full of sh*t," Diaz said. "I do what I do because I have to do it and for whatever reasons are behind it."

Ironically, UFC president Dana White supported this statement.

"There's a lot of things Nick says that make him Nick,' White told MMA Junkie. "It is what it is. I believe that he doesn't enjoy fighting. When you hear him talk about what he does and why he does it - everything that guys says is the reason he is who is who is."
