"Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers can be gleaned from the extended synopsis released by ABC, and they show a buried secret that threatens marriage and love spurned that will signal the return of evil. As for Emma and Captain Hook? They will go on a date, but a happy ending might not be in the cards.

Entertainment Weekly dished out "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers when it revealed that "newlyweds Belle and Rumplestiltskin continue to be deeply in love with each other."

"But Rumple is hiding a secret from Belle-one that, if found out, could destroy their happiness: he continues to be the master of the dagger that calls upon him to be the Dark One," it said.

Then there's Regina who might turn back to her evil ways as the direct consequence of Emma bringing back Marian.

"Now that Emma has brought back Robin Hood's wife, Marian, and possibly sparked the end of Regina's relationship with him, will she return to her old, evil ways and do everything in her power to get even?" the "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers released by ABC revealed.

The synopsis also weighed in on the Emma Swan and Captain Hook relationship with a question: "Can Emma and Hook commit to one another, and can these two damaged people take their love to the next level?"

Producer Edward Kitsis earlier revealed "Once Upon A Time" season 4 spoilers to E! News when he said that Emma Swan and Captain Hook will finally go on an official date.

"If you notice, they haven't had a proper date. Their dates have been running from time travels and portals and monsters, so they're going to have a proper date," he said.

Last month, Jennifer Morrison, who plays the bounty hunter Emma Swan, told Digital Spy that her character's romance with Captain Hook might not last a long time.

"My guess is that since we're on a television show, the bliss is not going to be for long because that's not very interesting," she said. "Nobody wants to watch a show of a bunch of happy people."
