Universal Orlando includes "Dracula Untold" in Halloween Horror Nights 2014. This time the alleged first vampire in history offers visitors a chance to lose themselves - literally and figuratively speaking - in the maze that is aptly named "Dracula Untold: Reign of Blood."
As reported by Miami New Times Blogs, John Murdy who is Universal Studios Hollywood creative director and executive producer of the event shared some of his plans about decorating the "Dracula Untold" Halloween Horror Night maze.
To ensure the terrifying enjoyment of the visitors, he plans to enhance the dark ambiance and use spooky lighting. He wanted guests of the "Dracula Untold" Halloween Horror Night to experience the cruelty of Prince Vlad "the Impaler," the lead character in the movie.
To do this he would use elements that would highlight the abominable things Prince Vlad was known to impose on his victims. Among these atrocities included impaling them. But it was not just their heads that he impaled with wooden spikes. He was infamous for literally skewering them by driving the stakes through their whole bodies - and he did it while they were still alive.
Once again, as reported by NBC Los Angeles, Universal Studios is slated to open the doors of Halloween Horror Nights. The much-anticipated event, which takes place yearly during the fall season, offers several fantastic mazes and other horror set-ups. Horrific but delightful experiences await visitors as they view the displays while walking through the mazes.
The inclusion of "Dracula Untold" maze this year will deviate from the popular atmosphere of a vampire set, which was based on classic 1930s Universal Count Dracula, reported NBC Los Angeles. Corroborating what Murdy has shared in Miami New Times Blogs, Prince Vlad's maze will be given a "dreadful" approach that jives perfectly with the medieval air of the movie.
