Even though the book series and their corresponding film versions have come and gone, it seems like the wizarding world of Harry Potter is still alive and well, even if we muggles don't know it. But author J.K. Rowling gives yet another glimpse of the magical world that's happening right under our noses. A Harry Potter new story has just been released by the author on her official website, Pottermore.

This time, the story is about the sorceress slash singer, Celestina Warbeck. This new story talks about the life of the magical songstress, and gives us quite picture of the character, who was mostly mentioned in passing in the books. In any case, Rowling has created a whole new story around her, which is not surprising given that the author has mentioned that she is one of her "favorite 'off-stage'" characters in the magical series.

In the story, we learn that Celestina Warbeck is a graduate of Hogwarts from the house of Gryffindor. She was supposedly forced to choose the wizarding school as her source of education because no "wizarding stage schools" existed, but this did not stop Celestina's stage mother from "[bombarding] the school with letters urging the creation of a choir, a theatre club, and dancing class to showcase her daughter's talents."

The young witch went on to become a top recording artist, earning the nickname "The Singing Sorceress," and churning out chart-topping hit such as "You Stole My Cauldron, But You Can't Have My Heart." Watch the video below to see her perform that song alongside her backing group, The Banshees:

"Although we never lay eyes on Celestina during the whole seven volumes of the Potter books, I always imagined her to resemble Shirley Bassey in both looks and style," Rowling shares. "I stole her first name from a friend with whom I worked, years ago, at Amnesty International's Headquarters in London; 'Celestina' was simply begging to be scooped up and attached to a glamorous witch."

Listen to this recordingof Celestina performing with her equally talented backup group, The Banshees, which J.K. Rowling also posted on the Pottermore website.
