Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming movies are expected to make it big at the box offices. Lawrence had a great year, climaxed by her reprisal of Katniss Everdeen in "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" and of Mystique in "X-Men: Days of Future Past."

Lawrence is working on follow-up installments to both the "The Hunger Games" and "X-Men" movie franchises, and she's also (supposedly) starring in "Joy," a biopic about the inventor of Miracle Mop Joy Mangano, slated for a December 2015 release.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" is already the buzz in fandom, and the adaptation to the conclusion of the book series is much-awaited, even if it's halved into two installments with separate theatrical release dates.

"The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" follows through where "Catching Fire" left off, with Katniss rescued by the resistance and spearheads a full-scale rebellion against the powers that be behind the nation of Panem. The movie is slated for a November 21, 2014 releases.

Also lined up in Jennifer Lawrence's upcoming movies is "X-men: Apocalypse." Marvel Studios expands its cinematic universe further by introducing the ancient mutant Apocalypse. The new film was teased during the end credits for "X-Men: Days of Future Past."
