Angelina Jolie's wedding to Brad Pitt last week was an expected surprise, if anything.

The scoop on Angelina Jolie's wedding dress is what fans and insiders want to know, at least for now. Did she go for a traditional dress, or did she decide to go for something unconventional?

Jolie had plenty of film appearances where she wore a wedding dress, so it wouldn't be so difficult to imagine her walking down the aisle. An insider to the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt wedding says the groom was stunned when he lifted Angelina's veil, though. It's confirmed she wore a veil, at least.

A source claims the "Tomb Raider" star wore white on her wedding day, and it was definitely a dress. It was "very traditional, but very Angie, it was comfortable but plain white floor-length antique lace and silk."

Angelina also wore something borrowed for her big day. The same source claims she "definitely wore something that once belonged to [her mother] Marcheline Bertrand. A small gold locket with a photo of her mom inside it."

Angelina Jolie's wedding ring was designed by Robert Procop, a friend to the Brangelina couple. As for the entourage, "The boys all wore tiny matching cream linen suits which were just like Brad's [tux] while the girls had each chosen a dress to match their own individual style and they had them specially made." The Brangelina wedding appears to be traditional, and very intimate. There were reportedly a total of 22 guests in attendance. Maddox and Pax escorted their mom on the aisle, Shiloh and Knox were ring bearers (for Brad and Angelina's rings), and Zahara and Vivienne threw petals.

The couple decided to get married at their French Chateau in Nice, a $35 million estate. Angelina Jolie's wedding day also marks the Brangelina's tenth anniversary since "Mr. and Mrs. Smith." (dailymail.co.uk)
