Ronda Rousey's next fight challenger has called out the champion. In turn, "Rowdy" responded with a condescending and threatening statement.

While Ronda Rousey's next fight has yet to officially name a challenger, another name has made the short list. Brazilian sensation Bethe Correia burst into the scene by defeating two of "Rowdy's" teammates, more popularly known as "The Four Horsewomen", namely Jessamyn Duke and most recently, Shayna Baszler.

"Pitbull" defeated Baszler this past weekend during one of the main card fights of UFC 177 held at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. The fight ended via second round TKO.

Immediately after the fight, the Brazilian women's bantamweight, who had been challenging "Rowdy" for a title shot, once again confronted the champion and clamored for a showdown.

"I have a message for Ronda Rousey," Correia said in a report by MMA Fighting about the possible situation for Ronda Rousey's next fight. "I want her belt and I'm coming to take it, the belt is going to be mine."

Correia currently holds an undefeated record of 9-0 and is currently on a three-fight win streak in the UFC. Her record alone has gave her confidence to challenge the current women's bantamweight champion, who also bears an undefeated slate of 10-0, all of which ended via stoppage.

"Rowdy" has always looked at her opponents as mere roadblocks to her championship run, and Bethe Correia is no different. This was why the reigning women's bantamweight champion offered a simple yet strong response to her would-be challenger.

"I just hope she doesn't lose before I get a chance to beat her myself," Rousey told MMA Weekly.

UFC President Dana White did confirm that one of his most prized female wards today accepted the challenge issued by Bethe Correia.

"As soon as (Correia) started talking, she texted me and said, 'I want that fight; I want it now," White told the media during the UFC 177 post-fight scrum about Ronda Rousey's next fight. "I want it before someone else beats her,' and I said, 'Calm down, lady. You've got other people to fight. We'll figure it out.' There's a long list for Rousey waiting right now, so we'll see what happens. She's on the list. It's a short list."
