Good news gaming fans! The release date for Silent Hills has been revealed for the for PS4 and Xbox One consoles, and for the PC.

According to reports from metro.co.uk, Silent Hills is set to be release in 2016 as the website reported that Metal Gear mastermind Hideo Kojima promises to make everyone “s*** their pants” when the Silent Hills is released in the market.

“The one thing that I can say about Silent Hills, and this is something I’ve been discussing with Guillermo del Toro as well, is that originally we were thinking of making a game that would make you pee your pants, but at this point we’ve changed our minds, and now we’re aiming for a game that will make you s*** your pants.”

“One thing that you have to keep in mind is that, if a game is too scary, people just won’t play it. If it gets too scary you just keep your eyes shut and soon it will be over. But if it’s a game, people will just stop. So that’s why there’s a limit on how scary you can make a game.”

“But in this case we’re totally ignoring that and, you know what? If you don’t want to keep on playing through the game, so be it. We don’t care. That’s the game we are aiming for.”

Originally called "P.T.", but it was revealed to be Silent Hills during Gamescom 2014, being produced by both Kojima and "Pacific Rim" director Guillermo Del Toro, and "The Walking Dead" star Norman Reedus will play the protagonist in the new game.

Here is the trailer of Silent Hills starring Norman Reedus.

"Watch Out. The gap in the door....it's a separate reality. The only me is me. Are you sure the only you is you?"

DreamcastGuy also uploaded another video theory in which he compared the plot of Silent Hills to another game called Alan Wake, and bringing the "real silent hill" at the gamers.

The last theory is from another username SirDaidv Gaming were in he uploaded a gameplay video featuring a radio transmission that cited other beings from another world.

VG24/7 reported that the radio transmission might hint creatures such as demons and aliens in the game as the website referenced Orson Welle's War of the Worlds as some sort of clue.

Whether these theories are true or not, gamers are curious to know what kind of horror and direction will Kojima and Del Toro put on Silent Hills.
