"24" movie, starring Kiefer Sutherland, talks have gotten a lot of attention for the past few weeks, according to TVLine.com. According to the website's sources, Imagine Entertainment is now very much interested to push through with a new film idea for the "24" movie. So far, however, any ideas have not yet been pitched to 20th Century Fox.

Fans are pretty sure that Fox will want to resume this internationally famous TV series, particularly as the recent "24: Live Another Day" was a success. Plus, reports have indicated that Kiefer Sutherland has been pretty stoked to become Jack Bauer in the "24" movie since 2006.

However, through the years, Kiefer Sutherland's excitement about the "24" movie has been doused a bit, from "We're totally making a movie!" to "A movie is always a possibility." Perhaps he is just a bit cautious to get his hopes up once again about a "24" movie, only to have them kicked back to the curb again. Fans of the highly anticipated "24" movie surely know how he feels if that is the case.

Peter Rice, CEO of Fox Networks Group, told the media back in July, "We haven't had a specific conversation about it coming back yet, but, I'm sure we will in the future. It's a wonderful franchise. When you look at the show itself it has many more stories to tell. I think we need to sit down and talk to the creators."

Speculations regarding an upcoming "24" movie first became viral shortly after the eighth season of the action-packed drama wrapped up back in 2010. After "24: Live Another Day" concluded back in July, Jon Cassar, the show's Executive Producer, announced at the recent Comic-Con that was held in San Diego that discussions regarding the "24" movie are still presently happening.
