Michael Schumacher update reveals that "Schumi's" health is doing "small, continuous progress" according to his family. Meanwhile, Corinna Schumacher publicly praised an eight-year old boy for writing a book about the Formula One legend.

According to FOX Sports, the 45-year old Ferrari driver is still undergoing rehabilitation following an accident he was involved in while skiing at the French Alps in December 2013 with his 14-year old son.

"Schumi" was immediately placed in a medically induced coma following the accident, which he remained in for six months, until finally waking up in June. The Formula One legend was then transferred from Grenbole Hospital in France to a rehabilitation clinic in Switzerland, near his home.

Michael Schumacher update also reveals that both close friends and family are still constantly watching over the F1 legend. Former Ferrari team manager Stefano Domenicali fondly remembered his relationship with "Schumi", both as a professional and on a more personal level.

"He was formidable because his contribution was not limited to his exceptional talent behind the wheel," Domenicali said of Schumacher. ""In private, he could be very severe, even ruthless, but outside he was always the first to defend the team,"

The Ferrari team representative also revealed no further developments have taken place with regards to Schumacher's health, although he revealed that progress had been slow but constant.

"We are in contact and they tell me that there is small, continuous progress," Domenicali continued. "I know that we all hope that this terrible waiting will end in the best way. Unfortunately we just have to wait."

Michael Schumacher update also reveals eight-year old Aidan Gormley's story of writing a book about the Formula One legend. In turn, "Schumi's" wife Corinna, publicly thanked Gormley for helping provide some hope for the family in their time of crisis.

"I would like to thank you for your best wishes and your kind present, which help us to move forward in those difficult moments," Corinna Schumacher said.
