"The View" has officially named its two new co-hosts who will be joining long-time host Whoopi Goldberg and returning host Rosie O'Donnell.
ABC Network has officially tapped Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace to join the panel this coming season, according to Bustle.
This is not actually the first time that the two hosts will be joining "The View." Back in season 17, both Wallace and Perez sat down as guest co-hosts on the talk show.
Perez, 49, is an actress and choreographer who has appeared in films like "White Man Can't Jump," "Fearless" and "Do The Right Thing."
She has also starred in a number of television series including "Nurse Jackie" and "The Cleveland Show," according to CBS News.
Wallace, 42, is a Republican and a political analyst for MSNBC. She also worked as the communications chief for President George W. Bush's re-election campaign. She also served as an adviser on John McCain's 2008 campaign, the same publication noted.
Meanwhile, "The View" executive producer Bill Wolff explained of their decision to tap both women and said, "These are powerful and accomplished women from different walks of life who have had amazing personal and professional experiences. Each brings incredible perspective and information to the table. The mix of smart, vibrant and energetic women is unlike anything else on daytime television."
The news was also confirmed on "The View's" official Twitter page. "It's official! @rosieperezbklyn & Nicolle Wallace join #TheView as new co-hosts alongside @WhoopiGoldberg @Rosie."
Fans of the talk show have reacted negatively to the announcement. Twitter user @caribdiva28 wrote, "Will not be watching. Would have preferred @SunnyHostin."
Twitter user @KimberKAtkins wrote, "Just when I didn't think it could get any worse! Could you find more annoying people?
@Shelbypitt8Pitt wrote, "oh hell no! Just another Elizabeth I see. #sad I was gonna try and watch but I'll pass."
