The upcoming "James Bond 24" movie will not be a hodgepodge of sorts because director Sam Mendes, together with lead actor Daniel Craig are giving their all to retain some of the former irony in the plot, while making sure that they will never resort to using pastiche.
Christian Today has shared this detail about the actor's response to questions about the strategy they (he and director Mendes) are using in making the "James Bond 24" movie. With the stellar success of "Skyfall," which garnered $1 billion worth of global ticket sales, it is only natural for people to wonder how Daniel and the rest of the production team will be working on the next sequel.
The actor went on to add that he is not well versed with using gimmicks unless they are sensible. Upon mentioning this, he even questioned if his answer made sense. He also expressed regret over being unable to overdo things (even just a bit, he says), in the process, admitting that it is simply not his style.
According to Latino Post, both the actor and director are taking on their previous duties in the "James Bond 24" movie - with Daniel as the lead star in the title role and Mendes at the director's chair. Judi Dench (Boss "M") and Miss Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) will also be reprising their respective roles.
However, casting is still in the process of completion as the producers are currently on the lookout for the next Bond girl and villain for the film.
According to Christian Post, James Bond's next nemesis will go by the name "Hinx." They are planning to hire someone who will become the iconic badass in the same league as former Bond villains Jaws and Oddjob.
Latino Post shared that "The Equalizer" himself (Denzel Washington) has expressed interest in taking on the role of the next James Bond, following Craig. However, his remark is only on the side and has no connection with the current auditions for the said roles.
