The massive success of the first Avengers movie has made a sequel an inevitable thing. That is almost a guarantee for a movie that has become the third most successful movie of all time. Diehard fans have been excitedly anticipating details of the upcoming movie, especially the Avengers 2 Age of Ultron plot. Today, news came out that the plot of this Marvel movie has just been leaked!
The studios that are behind the hugely successful film starring superheroes Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, and The Incredible Hulk have (plus villain Loki, let's admit) just released an official plot summary to website, Stitch Kingdom. The Avengers 2 Age of Ultron plot that has been leaked should prove to further whet the appetites of those who are eager to see the fate of their Marvel favorites. So what does the blurb say? Well, it starts with Tony Stark.
"When Tony Stark tries to jumpstart a dormant peacekeeping program, things go awry and Earth's Mightiest heroes, including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow, and Hawkeye, are put to the ultimate test as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance.
As the villainous Ultron emerges, it is up to The Avengers to stop him from enacting his terrible plans, and soon uneasy alliances and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure."
It will be another epic adventure for the team, it would seem from the details of this Avengers 2 Age of Ultron plot leak. With an expected excellent performance from veteran actor James Spader (The Blacklist, Pretty In Pink) who plays the new 8 foot tall robot villain in this movie, Ultron, we're sure to have a clash for the ages. After all, this new villain has been described as a "terrifying technological villain hell-bent on human extinction."
Spader was in fact, the only choice for director Joss Whedon for the role of Ultron. In an interview, the Avengers director shared, "Spader was my first and only choice. He's got that hypnotic voice that can be eerily calm and compelling, but he's also very human and humorous. Ultron is not Hal. Spader can play all of the levels. He's the guy to break The Avengers into pieces."
The Avengers: Age of Ultron will hit cinemas on May 1, 2015.
