Nate Diaz news reveals the younger Diaz brother's return to the UFC, as the former lightweight contender is set to face the current number three ranked 155-pound fighter.

The 29-year old fighter last saw action in November 2013, against fellow former title contender Gray Maynard at The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 18 Finale. Diaz walked away with a first round knockout victory.

However, Nate Diaz news reveals that the TUF 5 season winner got into a contract dispute with the UFC, mainly due to salary issues. In June, Diaz expressed his frustrations publicly, through his personal twitter account.

"Bout my money #breakbread till then don't call," Diaz tweeted.

In August, Diaz was reportedly beginning to make amends with the UFC, as company president Dana White revealed during the UFC Fight Night Macau media scrum. According to White, he had a "crazy, fun night" with the younger Diaz, but back then, a new fight deal was still far from being made.

"We were out having fun", White said. "We talked business for a little while. We got together in a room, and where he is and where we are, we're not even close."

Latest Nate Diaz news reveals that the former UFC lightweight title contender has severed his grudges with the company and has decided to make a long overdue comeback.

UFC.com announced Diaz's next fight against number three-ranked lightweight fighter Rafael Dos Anjos as the co-main event bout for the UFC's fight card on December 13th in Phoenix, Arizona.

Holding a win-loss slate of 22-7 (12 victories by stoppage), Dos Anjos has won four out of his last five fights. His most notable wins include a unanimous decision verdict over top contender Donald Cerrone, a second-round knockout over Jason High, and most remarkably, an upset first-round knockout win over former champion Benson Henderson.

Diaz, on the other hand, holds a 17-9 record (15 wins via stoppage), and has won three out of his last five fights.
