Joan Rivers news reported how veteran film star Zsa Zsa Gabor allegedly said that the late comedienne and former "Fashion Police" host "deserved to die".
According to a report from The National ENQUIRER<, the 97-year-old actress expressed to her husband Prince Frédéric von Anhalt her shocking opinion about the "Fashion Police" host's untimely death.
"Zsa Zsa was watching TV when Joan died, and asked what happened," the 71-year-old husband said.
Joan Rivers news revealed that Zsa Zsa Gabor allegedly shot back: "She badmouthed us all. She deserved it!"
The actress also allegedly added: "(Joan Rivers) is gone and I'm still here!"
E!Online was one of the first to report about Joan Rivers' news about her cardiac arrest. She passed away in September 4 at the age of 81.
According to The National ENQUIRER, the two used to work together back in the 1960s when Joan Rivers would share jokes to Zsa Zsa Gabor.
However, the notoriously frank humor of Joan Rivers did not amuse the former actress, especially when she became a target of the comedienne's jokes.
"Zsa Zsa has had so much plastic surgery that when she fainted the other day, no one knew whether to take her to the local hospital or to the Tupperware factory!" the comedienne reportedly joked about Zsa Zsa Gabor.
Joan Rivers' brutally honest sense of humor was always visible in her fashion-review show "Fashion Police". Recent Joan Rivers news revealed that E! Network has received the blessing from the late host's 46-year-old daughter, Melissa Rivers, to officially continue the said show.
The late comedienne's daughter is also an executive producer for "Fashion Police".
ABC News published the statement, which read: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Rivers and, for the last two weeks, have turned our attention to honoring her memory on all of our platforms."
The "Fashion Police" update continued: "We have also thought long and hard about what Joan would have wanted as it pertains to the future of Fashion Police. We decided, with Melissa Rivers' blessing, that Joan would have wanted the franchise to continue."
According to ABC News, the show will return in January 2015 when it covers the Golden Globe Awards.
