Justine Reed serves as wife, instead of caddie, for husband Patrick Reed at Ryder Cup

Patrick Reed is through to the Ryder Cup but he is faced with a tough decision on who will he bring in with his team as his caddie. Finally, he has made a decision and has opted to choose his brother-in-law - Kessler Karain instead of his wife Justine Reed.

Reed is an American professional golfer who plays on the PGA Tour. He is most notable for his victory in the 2014 WGC-Cadillac Championship.

According to Reed "Of course, she wanted to. But she felt like this would be a fun week for her to be the wife, take in all the activities with the other wives and get to know them, build more friendships just like I did with the guys."

"I think in the end, what we did is the best way."

Justine became Patrick's caddie in 2012. It was the same year that both of them got married. Patrick said his wife is happy with the decision saying "She feels comfortable with it. She'll be cheering loud on the sidelines."

On March 9, 2014, Reed earned his biggest win to date with a victory in the WGC-Cadillac Championship at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida. He earned $1.53 million with the one-shot win over Bubba Watson and Jamie Donaldson.

Reed's brother-in-law - Kessler Karain played junior golf before attending Texas-San Antonio and was in medical sales before getting the call from the Reeds.

According to Reed "They have the same kind of demeanor. They don't ever get high. They don't ever get real low. You look at them and they're just flat-lined. I feel like that's good with me because I get high and I get lows, so I have that person to kind of balance me out and get going and get ready for the next shot. That's huge."

"Justine is such a huge competitor. It was hard to have her not come on the bag. But at the same time, I feel like Kessler and I, we've played extremely well with each other and we've played great, and hopefully we can go get the job done."

The Ryder's Cup is up ahead and many golfers are getting ready for the competition.
