Which is why it's not surprising then, that another one of Jennifer Lawrence' movies is again co-starring Bradley Cooper.
The new movie is called Serena, and it is based on the book with the same title written by author Ron Rash. Danish director Susanne Bier is at the helm of this move that follows the life of newlyweds Serena and George Pemberton in the 1920s. The couple is from New England, but had move to North Carolina to start a timber business. In a recent interview with Square Miles magazine, the actor talks about his early struggles in the business, plus the recent success of the Bradley Cooper movies that have hit cinemas.
The 39 year old actor relates in the interview that it wasn't easy making it big in a business like showbusiness. "I struggled for a long time, and you never forget what you went through to finally make it," he shared. "Even with the success I've had, I still fight for roles that I don't wind up getting, so there's still enough uncertainty to keep you hungry. There's this crushing anxiety you feel when you're not getting the parts you want, and you wonder if acting is your destiny."
Of course, the article also delved on his working relationship with superstar Jennifer Lawrence, and the exceptional chemistry that is very obvious in all the Jennifer Lawrence - Bradley Cooper movies seen thus far. "We've had so much fun working together, and I'm so proud of her success," Bradley reveals. "She's one of the most down to Earth and unpretentious individuals you could ever meet, and it's such a pleasure to spend time with her."
But of course, there is life beyond acting. The actor, who is currently dating British model and actress Suki Waterhouse talks about his feelings about fatherhood. "I would love to be a father one day. I'm sorry my father won't be around to see his grandchildren, but he knows fatherhood was something I was looking forward to. That's my next big step in life."
