Saturday Night Live update has now returned after a long hiatus that was filled with show shake-ups and new casting announcements.
For the cast, Wells, Wheelan, and Milhiser are out of the show. Mike O'Brien, on the other hand, has decided to return to his spot inside the writers' room, this time for good. Plus, Pete Davidson and Michael Che, who was a writer for SNL at one point, are in to join in on the fun.
Moreover, Davidson is also the fourth youngest person to ever join the hilariously funny cast of "Saturday Night Live." Additionally, he is also the fourth person in the history of the show that is not of legal drinking age.
Basically, fans believe that the departure of the trio that was aforementioned will not have much of an effect on the show. Now that Davidson has an opportunity to grab the spotlight, fans are anticipating that the show will have a relatively Andy Samberg-ish type of comedy.
Also, Kenan Thompson might also leave the show. He is one of the show's longest mainstays and is believed to have the biggest following, with regards to the show. However, fans were dismayed when SNL did not renew his comedic segment "What Up with That?" which has not appeared on Saturday Night Live since December of 2012.
Chris Pratt, the amazingly handsome star of "Guardians of the Galaxy" will also be part of the show. His joining the show that there could be more cameo appearance from his beautiful wife Anna Faris, who had at least one fantastic sketch when she hosted the show back in 2011.
Another "Saturday Night Live" update would be the joining of Ariana Grande. She and her signature pony tail will be seen on the show.
Fans just cannot wait to hear Chris Pratt's take on certain issues as he opens Saturday Night Live. Many expect him to start off with a cold open that is associated with NFL's recent woes, a short monologue about his penchant for losing weight and then re-gaining for certain movie roles, and maybe a short shout-out for the late Robin Williams.
