'Zootopia' Release Date Set For March 4, 2016; Upcoming Film To Be Helmed By 'Tangled' Director Bryon Howard;' Plot Revealed [Read]

Another Disney movie to watch for is "Zootopia". Release date is set for March 4, 2016, according to IMBD. No trailer is available yet as the movie is still in the works.


Meanwhile, the plot has been revealed! Based on Disney-Wikia, the official synopsis reads:

"The comedic adventure film follows Nick Wilde, a fast-talking fox who's trying to make it big, who goes on the run when he's framed for a crime he didn't commit. Zootopia's top cop, the self-righteous rabbit Lt. Judy Hopps, is hot on his tail, but when both become targets of a conspiracy, they're forced to team up and discover even natural enemies can become best friends."

As per Hollywoord Reporter, Byron Howard ("Tangled") is the movie director, while Jared Bush is the writer. Teens Digest added that this 3D animated film is the 55th in the list of Walt Disney Animated Classics series. The term "Zootopia" is the name of the city and this is the setting of the film.

The publication shared its plot summary of the movie which reads "a cop frames an innocent fox for a crime he never commits. Surprisingly, the fox and the cop somehow become a great team together for they have the same important purpose."

Apart from this movie, Disney's has already set the launch of next sequel of "Finding Nemo" which is titled as "Finding Dory". The release date of this animated movie is set for July 17, 2015. Teens Digest added to their report that fans can expect characters like Nemo, the Tank Gang. Many others will reprise their roles from the first installment.
