Companies always want to hire top celebrities to model their products. Recently, furniture companies have been competing to hire best of the best celebrities to model their newest products. Actresses Jun Ji Hyun, Ko Hyun Jung and Jun Do Yeon are all to film furniture commercials this month.

Hallyu star Jun Ji Hyun signed a year long contract with furniture company Han Sam, and top stars Lee Jung Jae and Ko Hyun Jung signed a contract with Ace beds. Companies want to hire top celebrities to model their products because it increases their brand awareness and sales. The top star effect is hard to measure, however. A staff person at a furniture company said in an interview, "The products Jun Ji Hyun models are called Jun Ji Hyun furniture or Jun Ji Hyun bed, contributing to a more established brand awareness. However, it is hard to measure empirical effects of celebrity models." In related news, actress Jun Ji Hyun is going to meet the fans with a new movie called "Assassination." The new film "Assassination" is directed by Choi Dong Hoon, and tells a story of Japanese and Korean assassinators in Korea during the 1930s. Actress Jun Ji Hyun is to play the role of a Korean assassinator whose job is to kill pro Japanese Koreans. Actress Jun Ji Hyun going to start filming the new movie in early October.
