Kim Jae Joong, a member of the hottest male group JYJ, dared to overlook possible injuries to film for the new drama 'Dr. Jin.'
In the drama, Kim plays the role of Kim Kyung Tak as an official who is skilled in martial arts. This will be his first time doing action. He has already made efforts to familiarize himself with horseback riding and fencing in preparation.
Officials in Kim's agency C-Jes Entertainment said, "As soon as Kim received the character role, he immediately went into action school for training. He focused on holding a sword properly and coordinating his body movements."
Even off trainings, Kim Jae Joong practiced movements with the sword. Kim Kyung Tak (played by Kim Jae Joong) is a prodigy at martial arts and Kim Jae Joong diligently practiced to fit the role as naturally as possible.
However, the intense training involves a high chance of injury. C-Jes Entertainment officials said, "There are many scenes involving the sword that the risk of hand injuries is high, yet Kim Jae Joong shows no fear. He takes initiative and is ambitious to master the role." Another official agreed on Kim's determination.
