Sex and the City 3might actually happen, which is very good news for the series-turned-movie's loyal fans. Rumors have been circling the Internet for weeks that a third installment to the "Sex and the City" franchise could be in the works. Additionally, the heat surrounding the rumors was further fueled when Kristin Davis and Sarah Jessica Parker hinted to their fans that they may be involved in the flick.

Davis, who played the role of Charlotte York, a very prissy Upper East Sider, started an online conversation with Parker over Twitter last Friday. She even shared a photo of herself with her former co-star in the hit TV series and captioned it with, "@SJP Miss YOU XOXOXO!! <3"

Parker was actually the protagonist of the series. She starred as Carrie Bradshaw. She was quick to respond to Davis' tweet, even mentioning that there may be a possibility for a "Sex and the City" reboot. She tweeted, "@KristinDavis Me too you! Heard the news? X" The 49-year-old Davis then replied, "@SJP Yyyeesssss... But I'm afraid to get TOO excited yet - you let me know when we can celebrate. XO"

Taking a look at their exchange of tweets, it is highly likely that they are referring to a reboot of one of the most watched shows of its time, "Sex and the City."

While these two former co-stars of the show were hitting up on Twitter, Kim Cattrall, who played the role of the highly seductive and raunchy Samantha Jones, responded to the resulting inquiries if "Sex and the City 3" was in the works. She was kind of out of the loop in the Twitter conversation that happened, but she was still able to answer, quite vaguely, the show's prying questions.

The 58-year-old Cattrall tweeted, 'News 2 me... Rumors like this are flattering." Her answer was, indeed, vague, but it only further fueled the rumors that a "Sex and the City 3" flick might be happening soon.
