"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15-months in prison earlier this week.

Details of the reality television star's prison sentence have begun to surface.

Teresa Giudice will be serving her sentence at Alderson Federal Prison Camp in West Virginia, the same place Martha Stewart served time for insider trading, according to Radar Online.

"Teresa's advisors have told her that she will most likely go to Alderson because the other women's federal prison in Connecticut - Danbury - is transitioning to housing men only. Danbury is much closer to Teresa's family nearby New Jersey, but the length of her prison sentence will probably run out," a source told the entertainment website.

During her time in prison, Giudice will reportedly be required to do manual labor, which could include doing prison laundry, cooking in the kitchen or trash pick-up.

"Teresa refuses to even look at any of the material regarding Alderson. She is hoping she will get a last-minute reprieve, but that isn't going to happen. The sooner Teresa accepts it, the better it will be for her," the source added.

The insider continued, "Alderson is in West Virginia, which would make it almost impossible for her to visit with the kids on a regular weekly basis. Still, Teresa has been told by her lawyers that Alderson would actually be a much better fit for her than anywhere else, as the prison doesn't even have barbed wire around it, and it's minimum security."

Now that she's been sentenced, Teresa Giudice is now thinking of ways to tell her four daughters.

"I'm not going to say something like 'Mommy's going somewhere.' I want Joe to come with the girls to come see me. But, I'm grateful to the judge, because I know she could have taken us yesterday if she wanted to. Or she could have taken us both, or taken me," stated Giudice during an interview with Bravo host Andy Cohen, according to E! News.
