Beyoncé and Nicki Minaj have just released their latest music video for the remix of "Flawless", only two months after the 33-year-old singer first dropped the track.
"Flawless" first came out in August, and now the "Anaconda" singer joins Queen Bey on the stage in Paris. Now, it has an actual music video that fans can watch repeatedly, especially for those who were not able to personally watch the tandem work it onstage in Paris.
It was Beyoncé who released the video clip online, treating her loyal fans to more than five minutes of her performance with Nicki Minaj.
The video opens with Bey in Paris for one of the final nights of her "On the Run" tour with her rapper husband, Jay Z. She starts to sing "Flawless" as a certain message flashes its way across the screen. "Feminist: A person who believes in the social, political, and economic equality of the sexes."
Her backup dancers then join her on the stage. However, in the middle of her song, she starts to sing the remixed version and calls on Nicki Minaj, using the music artist's real name, Onika. The rapper then says, "The queen of rap, slayin' with Queen Bey / If you ain't on the team, you plain for the team D."
Earlier this year, the 31-year-old Minaj, was interviewed on what it was like to work with Queen Bey. "Gee called me when I was on my way to Vegas, and he said, 'Beyoncé wants you to remix 'Flawless,'" Minaj told Hot 97 last August. "And, after I got proper medical help and started breathing again, I was, like, 'What?'"
It would seem that Nicki Minaj was surprised to know that Beyoncé wanted to work with her. However, fans were not so surprised since they are both amazing in what they do, and eventually, a team-up between the two of them was very likely to happen.
According to the "Super Bass" singer, the "Crazy in Love" singer wanted her to be creative and just practice her originality, something that Minaj is actually known for doing. Beyoncé even reportedly told her, "I want you to be you - I don't want you to hold back."
