Nate Diaz news reveals manager Mike Kogan's rants as he takes verbal shots at UFC president Dana White. Kogan also claimed that the entire camp, including Nate Diaz himself, was not happy with his new UFC deal.
Nate Diaz last saw action in November 2013, against former number one lightweight contender Gray "The Bully" Maynard at The Ultimate Fighter 18 Finale. Diaz won via first round KO, which also gave him the Knockout of the Night honors.
However, a contract dispute between Diaz and the UFC have escalated in the succeeding months, as the fighter and the company executives went on a back-and-forth tirade.
Nate Diaz news reveals manager Mike Kogan's exclusive interview with Fight Hub, as he aired out his sentiments regarding Dana White's regime as president, and what he felt were forms of injustice by the company president.
"I feel like it's important to have a relationship, but it's important not to trash your fighters in public because you don't like what they're saying and devalue them, and then have to come back and backtrack," Kogan said, referring to White.
Diaz's absence forced the UFC to take him off the top ten division rankings. In addition, Dana White criticized the younger Diaz brother for "not being a needle mover." Kogan also expressed his frustration regarding the matter.
"How do you get to a co-main event and not be a needle mover?" Kogan answered.
"Rankings are a joke anyway," he continued. "Eddie Alvarez just lost. According to Dana White and everybody else in the UFC, Bellator sucks, everybody there sucks, they're the B League, the C League, the minor leagues. So how the f*ck does this guy get ranked top ten after losing to a guy in top ten?"
Nate Diaz news also reveals that the younger Diaz will be facing Rafael Dos Anjos as the co-main event bout for UFC on FOX in December, as part of his new fight deal. But according to Kogan, he, along with his fighter, are not happy with it.
"Not happy when we were signing it, just kind of made it work 'cause it was two weeks before the fight and there's just wasn't time to be making a lot of waves," he said.
