In the new drama "Tomorrow Cantabile," Go Kyung Po has bleached blond hair and is seen carrying and playing the electric violin. If you wondered why he looks familiar, you may have seen him play Oh Dong Hoon in "Flower Boys Next Door." In that romantic comedy he was the buddy of the cartoonist Oh Jin Rak, who lived next door to Park Shin Hye's hermit character. Or you may have seen him in the recent drama "Potato Star 2013QR3."
And the actor is not just landing drama roles. Go Kyung Po appeared in two top-notch films this year, "Man In High Heels," with Cha Seung Won, and the blockbuster "The Admiral: Roaring Currents" with Choi Min Sik.

1. He has a huge collection of graphic novels with titles that include "Green Lantern," "Batman" and "Civil War."
2. He likes to draw even though he has never taken formal art lessons. Drawing makes him feel better. He is inspired by going to see art exhibits and he really likes illustrations by film director Tim Burton, which he says demonstrate the director's unique sense of humor.
3. Despite his career success Go Kyung Po occasionally likes to perform on the street with his friends.
"Recently, I was at the playground in front of Hongik University and a team called Soundbox was hosting a text message talk show," he said in an nterview with 10asiaco.kr. "So I sent them a message saying, 'I'm a new actor and I have a shoot tomorrow but I'm having so much fun that I can't go home. I'm in trouble.' And they called me out so I got to promote myself as well."
4. He was a cast member of Korea's Saturday Night Live for three seasons. People have commented on how much he looks like Super Junior's Choi Siwon. When the band hosted SNL one night, he filled in for Choi Siwon who could not be there due to scheduling conflicts. During their introductions to the audience the band members noted that one member of the group looked different. When it turned out to be Go Kyung Po in Choi Siwon's place, the audience laughed.
5. Go Kyung Po and comedienne Kim Seul Gi were not just a cartoonist-editor couple in "Flower Boys Next Door." The actors are friends who worked together on "Saturday Night Live" and they also sang a duet for the "Flower Boys Next Door" soundtrack, titled "I Wake Up Because Of You."
