"The Real Housewives of New York" cast Aviva Drescher has hit back at a talent manager who threatened to sue her for backpay for helping the reality star land a gig on "Marriage Boot Camp." Meanwhile, Countess LuAnn de Lesseps is holding a garage sale of luxurious pre-loved items.
In a report from NY Daily News, "The Real Housewife of New York" cast Aviva Drescher accused handler Gina Rodriguez, whom she calls as a sleazy wannabe agent, of lying to her when she signed the deal.
"The whole thing was shady and sleazy and I've never met her. She came to me with this show, told me it was 10 days of filming in L.A., when it was really 16 days. She told me the whole cast was getting same salary. She was a broker, not an agent, and asked for 10% of the deal," the reality star said.
Reportedly, "The Real Housewives of New York" cast Aviva Drescher was paid $100,000 for two weeks of filming. She got $25,000 upon arriving on the set and another $25,000 during shooting. The balance was paid in full after she wrapped up filming.
"She was getting her 10% as each amount comes in, but we have held back on the remainder because we think she's very sleazy. For 16 days of filming, I would have asked for more money," she added.
Meanwhile, in a related report from Bravo TV, "The Real Housewives of New York" cast Countess LuAnn de Lesseps will sell off some of her belongings at her property in Bridgehampton, Long Island from October 24- 26.
Among the properties to be sold off are "designer fine furnishings, antiques, chandeliers, numerous bedroom suites, and even a full gym," the website said "There is also lots of art including watercolors, oil paintings and prints signed by the artists."
"The Real Housewives of New York" cast Countess LuAnn de Lesseps will donate part of the proceeds to The Retreat, which is a shelter for women located in the Long Island.
