A GTA San Andreas re release for the Xbox 360 is in the works, with GTA V scheduled to launch November 18.

An Xbox 360 GTA San Andreas re release is in the works; although game developer Rockstar Games has yet to announce the new version on the Xbox 360, there's hint of the same in a new entry in Xbox Achievements.

Report of the release for the Microsoft console appears to confirm recent updates; the Xbox Originals edition of GTA San Andreas seems to be pulled from the list of available downloads for the Xbox 360. On the other hand, the PlayStation 3 port of the title remains available.

This month is the game's tenth anniversary of release, and a GTA San Andreas re release is a fitting way to comemmorate the first launch at the consoles and PC. The game came out first on the PlayStation 2 Otober 2004, and has since been ported to the Xbox, PC, Mac, and even mobile devices (gamespot.com).

The Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas re release may seem outdated, but is a perfect teaser for GTA V, which comes out on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next month. The PC version for the new game won't be available until January 2015. With more than 34 million copies shipped for the series, re released titles should keep new gamers interested in backtitles and older versions.

Grand Theft Auto V offers new features for the PC and next-gen consoles, including new weapons, vehicles, and activities. The game will also maximize the new hardware's capabilities with denser traffic and a new foliage system, as well as improved damage and weather effects.

A million dollars of in-game bonus cash is available to spend on GTA V and GTA Online, for those who pre-order the game's next-gen and PC versions. A hundred new songs and DJ mixes are available, through "radio station streams" in-game (gamespot.com).
