Finally, the Williams Sister gets what they wanted and deserves, an apology from Russian Boss Shamil Tarpischev.

Tennis Federation called her and older sister Venus as ''brothers'' and even said that the sisters were ''scary'' to look at.

Because of those comments, Shamil Tarpischev was also fined $25,000 for making the comments on Russian television.

According to Serena with regards to the apology "He has reached out to apologise to both myself and my sister. It was written. No, I did not speak to him."

Williams had slammed Tarpischev comment saying it was a form of bullying, sexist and racist, and that she supported the one-year suspension imposed by the WTA against the official.

She said "'I think they were very disrespectful and uncalled for, and I'm glad that many people have stood up, including the WTA. It was very inappropriate, especially in his position and all the responsibilities that he has not just in sport, but being part of the Olympic committee."

Tarpischev was asked if ever he ever regretted his comment, he answered that the program on which he spoke was ''a humorous show.''

Despite the controversy that over shadowed her performance, Williams was able to show a stunning 6-0, 6-2 defeat to Simona Halep. But insist that she will not stress herself out on the way to her next game.

She said "It's out of my hands. The last thing I'm going to do is stress out about it. If I don't qualify, you know, I'll be sad, I guess, but wasn't my year. I'm not going to fall out and die."

She said her schedule on Friday would involve a practice session and "then I will just relax and maybe go see Mariah Carey".

Williams' loss to Halep on Wednesday was her worst defeat since she was a title-less teenager.

She said "It wasn't just one thing. It was both tactically and mentally. And then I think his belief was really key, because I was feeling mighty low. I was able to feed off this belief. I know that sounds weird, even though I've won so many titles, I still at some point feel like, 'Oh, gosh. Well, maybe I might not be able to do this or maybe I might not be able to do that'."

Adding "Especially after a loss. Especially the way I performed yesterday. So I definitely don't think that I would've been able to survive today if it wasn't for Patrick. For sure."
