New "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4 reports claim that there will be a delay in launching the game to consoles.

Games Radar, suggested that the popular MMORPG will be made available on consoles by December, but a Motoring Crunch article about "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4, claims that Bethesda has faced some serious road blocks leading them to delay the anticipated game's release.

"It appears that Bethesda has faced a major obstacle in developing Elder Scrolls Online for the new-gen consoles. The game developer revealed that both the Xbox One and PS4 operate on different complex systems that they have to tailor made Elder Scrolls Online for each console."

"On the downside of things, Bethesda failed to reveal on how long the delay is. Nevertheless, the company assured fans that they can already start playing Elder Scrolls Online on their PCs as the saved file can be brought forward to the Xbox One and PS4 in the future," the article added.

And should a fan wish to purchase the console version of the game, they will be given a good deal at $20/€14.99/£12.99/AU$20. The special price was given to "lessen the burden of owning two copies of the same game," said Motoring Crunch.

Meanwhile, Bethesda is reportedly busy with another launch- "Elder Scrolls Online" and "Skyrim" books. Bethesda in partnership with Titan Books will be coming out with 5 books that will delve deeper into the stories surrounding the two talked about games.

According to Air Herald, "The books will begin to drop in March, 2015, and the first one to hit stores will be 'The Elder Scrolls Online: Tales of Tamriel - Vol. 1' along with a second volume entitled 'The Lore.'"

"This set will explore subjects like the major factions Aldmeri Dominion, Daggerfall Covenant, and the unlikely pact between the Nords and Dark Elves. They're also set to cover the invasion by Molag Bal, the Daedric Prince of domination and enslavement of mortals."
