Since the premiere of the new KBS 2 TV Monday Tuesday drama 'Tomorrow Cantabile,' which premiered on October 13, 2014, many fans of the original work, "Nodame Cantabile," and fans of the Korean TV drama are arguing about the content of the Korean drama in relation to the Japanese version of it.
In Japan, the story of "Nodame Cantabile" was so popular that the original cartoon was made into TV drama series and a movie. Main actor Joo Won and actress Shim Eun Kyung played their parts very very well, which was done not too over the top yet still comical.
However, unlike other successful Korean dramas that were based on Japanese dramas, such as the KBS 2 TV drama "The Goddess of Work" with actress Kim Hye Soo, the new KBS 2 TV Monday Tuesday drama 'Tomorrow Cantabile' fails to distinguish itself from its original Japanese version, as it strictly followed the original without rendition of the story of characters for the Korean audiences. In related news, the new KBS 2 TV Monday Tuesday drama 'Tomorrow Cantabile' which premiered on October 13, 2014, tells a story of an orchestra composer Cha Yoo Jin, played by actor Joo Son, who is a man who has everything but feels empty inside, and pianist Sul Nae Il, played by actress Shim Eun Kyung, who has nothing but is filled with positive energy.
