Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard showed off her penchant for black as "Magic Mike XXL" star's fashion sense was upstaged by her huge engagement ring.

In a report from Just Jared, Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard went rock chic as she stepped into the Los Angeles Airport to catch a flight on October 29.

But photographers were more interested in her engagement ring than her rock ensemble.

The 28-year-old actress is flying out to Savannah, Georgia to continue filming for "Magic Mike XXL," opposite Channing Tatum.

The British tabloid MailOnline also weighed in on Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard's fashion sense in a new article.

"The 28-year-old held her beloved pooch Pistol firmly in her hand as she worked her grungy yet relatively neat look," it said. "The starlet added height with black suede boots while she completed her attire with a wide-brimmed black fedora."

Both Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have not really outright admitted that they are engaged but while promoting "Transendence," the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star told the press when asked about the ring on his finger, "The fact that I'm wearing a chick's ring on my finger is probably a dead giveaway. Not very subtle."

Earlier, several tabloids reported that the pair will marry by the end of the year but both camps have not confirmed the report.

But the controversy didn't affect her image as she has several projects lined up. These include "Magic Mike XXL" with Channing Tatum, "The Adderall Diaries" with James Franco and Christian Slater, and "When I Live My Life Over Again" with Christopher Walken.

There's also "London Fields," which will see Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard co-starring with her beau and Billy Bob Thorton.
