Georges St-Pierre's next fight will still be at 170-pounds despite "GSP's" current weight situation, wherein he walks around at 200-pounds. The former UFC welterweight king also offered a piece of advice for the current crop of champions.

While Georges St-Pierre's next fight date remains uncertain, the former long-time welterweight champ is still planning to return at the weight class he has dominated at, despite being too overweight for it. His 200-pound scale reading is mainly due to the yearlong lay-off he took after winning a controversial unanimous decision verdict against current champion Johny Hendricks during their title fight in November 2013.

Georges St-Pierre's next fight plans were revealed during former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen's podcast entitled "You're Welcome."

"I'm the heaviest I've been in my life, I'm like 200 pounds," the former champion said. "I used to walk around at 188 pounds and now I am 200 pounds. Still, at 200 pounds (if I come back) it will be at welterweight."

While it is expected for every fighter to not be within the weight limit of the division he is fighting at during his off-season, St-Pierre explained why he is walking around at a weight, which is extremely far from the usual.

"Due to my rehab, I was not able to do martial arts training," St-Pierre said. "I did a lot of strength conditioning exercises mixed with a lot of gymnastics. So, I gained a lot of muscle mass. "

Georges St-Pierre is one of the most dominant champions in UFC history, holding the title for six consecutive years, while successfully defending it eight straight times. While he did admit that he has had legal troubles with former management, "GSP" offered a piece of advice to current fighters, in terms of handling the business side of the fight game.

"One thing I can advise the professional athlete in mixed martial arts, you have to take it in a way that, you need to see your career as a business," St-Pierre explained. "I'm not qualified, I'm not competent for business because I'm a martial artist. I am competent to fight."

"So, when it is time to negotiate deals, or deal with my taxes or lawyer, I'm hiring the best people, the people I could find most competent for the job."
