Smartphones fans wouldn't get larger than this one; Samsung is successful with their Galaxy Note's latest iteration Galaxy Note Edge's time challenges all-new iPhone 6 Plus of its competitor Apple.

Virtually, Samsung Galaxy Note series ruled the high-end phablet market segment; however, with Apple penetrating the market segment, the Korean company finally may have to be shaken about sustaining its monopoly to the segment. Here's a detailed comparison of the two large screen phones....

As for the design, both companies have been contradicting each other when it comes to phablets. iPhone 6 is all about curves, Galaxy Edge has sharper edges and lines, the curved screen of Galaxy Note Edge is made to provide the users a better field of visin, offering the viewer an immersed sense of being in the image. Both phablets vie to win the best-designed gadget of the year. In the last couple of years, iPhone 6 is also made with glass and aluminum which gives a premium feel; still there are more misses than hits when it comes to the design.

The front camera of Apple's flagship phone projects a little bit so it won't rest flat. The goal of this design is to maintain the thinness of the iPhone 6 Plus, but loses more than a few points for phablet gadgets. Apple has not developed the bezels thin enough, which results to a 5.5 inch screen being much larger in size than the Galaxy Edge which is 5.7 inch. On the other hand, not as wide as the Samsung phablet, therefore, it is a hone hand use easier.

Samsung has applied an integration of plastic and glass for Galaxy Note Edge, the frame on the side has sports and chamfered edges. The back has plastic covering which has a smooth texture, which provides pretty good grip. The back panel is also so slightly curved in order to have it fit the curve of the hand a little better. Galaxy Note Edge and iPhone 6 are more than the same than different. Both have fast processors, large screens, and fingerprint scanners, bunch of health sensors, long battery life and excellent cameras. However, the applications of these features what makes them different from each other.
