The villains and their back stories are slowly being explored and narrated in Fox's Gotham. We've seen our fair share of villains and have seen their roots before they became the full-blown Batman nemesis that they became. And now, to add to the Gotham TV series wiki, we have another character that is both a hero and a villain.
Of course we are talking about Harvey Dent, who we all know later on becomes Two Face. In the TV series he is played by Nicholas D'Agosto, who you might know from the hit TV show Heroes. From the recent Christopher Nolan Dark Knight trilogy, we all know Harvey Dent (played by Aaron Eckhart) as the District Attorney who looked like he was going to be Gotham's knight in shining armor, the symbol of hope for the decaying city.
In the TV series Gotham, he is not the District Attorney yet, but is the assistant. The official description for Harvey Dent in the Gotham TV series wiki is as follows: "bright, charming, idealistic Assistant District Attorney whose sole mission is to eradicate the crime and corruption that has poisoned Gotham. Handsome, warm, and engaging, Dent is appealing, energetic, and full of light and life, even while taking on the worst Gotham has to offer. Although he will one day serve as the white knight Gotham needs so badly, Harvey Dent also gives us a fleeting glimpse of the hideous villain he will become - Two-Face."
It is obvious that even though he is touted as the hope that Gotham has long needed, we will be seeing some hints of the villain that he will eventually become.
Reportedly, Harvey Dent will make his debut in the episode of Gotham that will be aired on November 17. In the meantime, see the first still photo of the promising young lawyer here.
