Ellen DeGeneres & Portia De Rossi divorce rumors re-emerge after weeks of simmering down. It seems that the buzz about the split is getting real. According to OK Magazine as reported by Classicalite, "Ellen has been less than truthful about a lot of things as of late."
"Ellen wants the world to believe that she and Portia are happier than ever...But in reality they aren't. They haven't been happy for years. Now that she's sober, Portia realizes how unhappy she was, and she resents Ellen," the insider told the publication.
According to Classicalite's previous report, "things are going so well" for the couple. At that time, Portia is anticipated to pay another visit to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Reportedly, the talk show host invited fans or strangers to ask any question they would like of them on the TV show's website. Ellen's interview with Portia debunked the baby news while putting up a happy front.
Recently, Page Six reported that the couple was reported to get in a fight while on the way to a charity event Saving SPOT at Tiato in Santa Monica. The couple was listed as the hosts of the said gathering and even have their photos present in the invitations.
"Ellen and Portia were supposed to be at the event at 5 p.m., but at 6:30 p.m., the media was still waiting for their arrival. Reporters were told they were on their way, until the head of the charity informed everyone at the end of the event that they weren't going to make it due to 'logistics.'" the source said.
According to Page Six, Ellen and Portia "insisted" they had informed the charity that they won't be able to make it to the even and that their photos should not have been in the invitation.
Reportedly, the source of the couple's disagreement "centers on Portia's new role on 'Scandal'" and the "shift in the power dynamic" got Ellen pissed off.
"Now that Portia is standing on her own two feet, Ellen feels like she doesn't need her anymore. Ellen can't stand that Portia isn't always available when she calls...But Portia is happy working on Scandal. They've had massive arguments over it," the source said.
