The ink animation that was on the new SBS drama 'Faith' showed a different kind of image.
For the first time in a Korean drama, there was an ink animation that was being used as the first scene of SBS drama 'Faith.' The animation that was used was an important part to understand the 24 episode drama. It is about the story of the legendary doctor Hwa-ta who escaped the grasp of Cao Cao of Three Kingdoms (China) through a time traveling portal 'heavenly point.'
For this scene, the ink animation director and media artist Tak Young Hwan joined the Kim Jong Hak team. Tak Young Hwan stated, "This scene that portrays the movement of ink on the drawing paper also had to use dry ice to portray clouds. It took about three months for this to be mastered."
An official of the drama said, "For the genre that 'Faith' was trying to portray, the ink animation used an ink animation to fit the image. I thought that it would be something new for the viewers and would start 'Faith' off with an impact."
