"Tom Clancy's The Division" release date 2015 for Xbox One and PS4 updates suggest that Ubisoft's latest release will rival one of 2014's highly anticpated game- Destiny.

The gaming community has high hopes for "The Division." Clancy known for the "Rainbox Six" fame, has passed away last year, and speculations are flying that Ubisoft is doing the best they can to create a legacy through the new game.

"Tom Clancy's The Division" release date 2015 for Xbox One and PS4 updates claim that Ubisoft is working hard to take the new game a notch higher. But can it surpass "Destiny?"

The recently released RPG was met with a lukewarm reception from the gaming community. As Air Herald reported, "While the games certainly look very different, the formulae of Destiny and The Division share many similar elements. Both are mostly PvE-oriented and focus on venturing deep into dangerous territory to find gear and fight back enemy forces (in The Division, players are trying to restore order to New York City which has fallen into chaos following a deadly epidemic)."

"Many gamers criticized Destiny for its weak storyline, repetitive gameplay, and lackluster end-game which focuses mostly on upgrading one’s gear."

Despite the unconfirmed release date, fans are very much excited to get their hands on the new release that will reportedly give players the ultimate RPG experience.

In an interview with IGN, Ubisoft art director Rodrigo Cortes shared:

"We want to show gamers the game they will end up playing. We don't want to sell a fantasy."

"For us, one of the biggest challenges is figuring out how to tell people how much of an RPG it is. It has shooting, and is shooter-like. If you look at it, that's the whole point because we want it to be very immersive," he added.

"But it's not a shooter with some RPG stats tacked on. It's actually a proper RPG from the very beginning. There's deep progression when it comes to loot, gear, and levels and you'll be able to customize every skill, do exactly what you want, and choose roles. So that's probably the biggest communication challenge. We want to make clear to everyone that it's an RPG."

Here is the official description of "Tom Clancy's The Division" from Ubisoft:

"The Division agents are trained to operate independently of command, as all else fails. Fighting to prevent the fall of society, the agents will find themselves caught up in an epic conspiracy to combat not only the effects of a manmade virus, but also the rising threat of those behind it."
