Google Nexus 6 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Customers are yet to await the Nexus 6 release date while Note 4 has been released a couple of months ago. People - critics and customers alike - can't help but compare the two. Which phablet is better?

If Note 4 is big enough (153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5mm) to help business users do their tasks, Nexus 6 comes out a little bigger (159.26 x 82.98 x 10.06mm). Galaxy Note 4 is lighter at 176g, compared to Google phone's 184g. But if one-handed use is a primary issue - as it is to most of the users - the latest Samsung phablet may still be a winner as it is smaller and lighter.

Talking of build, there's no comparison as Nexus 6 and Note 4 came from firms that use the same approach in their devices' bodies - plastic back with metal ends - to avoid looking cheap and to lower production cost.

When it comes to display resolution, both smartphones carry the same - 1440 x 2560 pixels - but they differ in pixel density. Note 4 has higher ppi at 515; Nexus 6 is 493ppi.

Google Nexus 6 vs. Samsung Galaxy Note 4: Which one has the bigger advantage then?

Android 5.0 Lollipop is Nexus 6's huge advantage over Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The public is yet to hear from Samsung if the latest Note device will receive an upgrade from Android 4.4.4. Nexus 6 also comes with "splash resistant".

Interested buyers in the U.S. may only get hold of the Nexus 6 later this month. T Mobile will offer this Google phone in Nov. 12, however. There's no news yet on when it is coming in other carriers, such as Verizon, Sprint, AT&T, and US Cellular but it is reported that Nexus 6 will be available to them later this month or by the next month. The Galaxy Note 4, on the other hand, is now available on all these carriers.
