"Mission Impossible 5" star Tom Cruise is reportedly ready to move on with a movie assistant as the 52-year-old actor's recent stunt, where he is seen hanging on to a plane, was a show of defiance to the use of CGI.

According to the report from Us Weekly, "Mission Impossible 5" star Tom Cruise is allegedly "crushing" on the assistant, identified only as Emily, in his latest film.

"He's always flirting with her. Most people on the film have noticed how into her he is," the source told the magazine.

Always the professional, "Mission Impossible 5" star Tom Cruise is reportedly keeping his distance for a bit until filming is finished.

"He's already asked Emily to go out to dinner with him, on a date, when they're done shooting," the source claimed, before adding that the crew has "never seen him crush on anyone so hard!"

Meanwhile, The Guardian reported that the latest stunt of "Mission Impossible 5" star Tom Cruise hanging on the jet was a defiance of the use of CGI.

In the piece, Ben Beaumont-Thomas wrote: "You could argue that advances in CGI has meant that the arguments about authenticity will dwindle, and doing things for real is just a macho pose. But our desire for stars doing extraordinary things will likely never be sated - and a big-budget film will remain the best place to see them."

Photos from MailOnline showed the Tom Cruise apparently continuing his tradition of doing his own stunts, even if how dangerous it is.

In the "Mission Impossible 5," for example, the 52-year-old can be seen wearing a suit while hanging on an Airbus A400M while flying 5,000 feet above ground in the British countryside.

"Tom, who's scaled the world's tallest building and free climbed Colorado's 2,000ft canyons for the 'Mission Impossible' movie franchise, was once again going solo on the death-defying stunt," it said. "The action lover put his life on the line as he took to the skies; using just the side of the aircraft to help maintain his horizontal positioning while the plane glided over the British landscape."
