Diplo bashed Taylor Swift on Twitter last Wednesday. He said, "Someone should make a kickstarter to get taylor swift a booty."
He also followed up another tweet with actual link to a Fundly page for the joke cause, which managed to raise $45. The exact statement is posted below:
After the insulting tweets of Diplo, "Royals" singer Lorde dissed the DJ. Her tweet reads, "@diplo should we do something about your tiny penis while we're at it hm."
With this latest social media battle, there is a speculation that this could be related to "Shake It Off" singer Taylor Swift and "Roar" singer Katy Perry feud.
Way back in September, Swift revealed to Rolling Stone about the inspiration of her song “Bad Blood” from her new album, “1989.” She said it had something to do with a fellow unnamed artist with whom she is “straight-up enemies.”
T-Swizzle told Rolling Stone, “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational—you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”
After this interview, "Roar" singer Perry sent out a cryptic tweet.
“Watch out for the Regina George in sheep’s clothing…”
The singer was referring to the Rachel McAdams character who faced off against Lindsay Lohan in the 2004 hit comedy “Mean Girls.”
