Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy s5: Samsung takes pride in its Samsung Galaxy and Samsung Galaxy Note series. Both products define the success of the tech giant. Of these Android phones, s5 and Note 4 are the latest - but which one is the better Samsung flagship smartphone? Let's do the head-to-head comparison of their specs and features.

Design

Note 4 is bigger than s5 with its dimensions of 6.04 x 3.09 x 0.33 inches. Galaxy s5 is only 5.59 x 2.85 x 0.32 inches. It is also heavier with its 176g weight, as opposed to s5's 145g. Samsung Galaxy s5 has plastic back and fake chrome frame while Note 4 looks a bit chic with its leather-like back cover and aluminum frame. If s5 boasts of its USB 3.0, the Note 4 is proud of its S Pen.

Because most prefer bigger phone now and because its back is not plastic, Note 4 is the winner here. However, you may want to change your mind if you are after protection from liquid and dust damage because s5 is IP67 certified - Note 4 has none.

Camera

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy s5: In terms of camera quality, both units have the same specs - 16 megapixels, LED flash, F2.2 aperture size, 31mm focal length, 1/2.6" camera sensor size. They differ, however, in camera features as the Galaxy Note 4 has more.

Display

Note 4 has bigger screen; hence, owners will enjoy watching movies and other videos, as well as web browsing, using it. Its display resolution is higher as well - 1440 x 2560 pixels with 515 ppi, as opposed to s5's 1080 x 1920 pixels with 432 ppi. Because they are from Samsung, they make use of similar screen technology - Super AMOLED.

Hardware

Note 4 works faster than s5 with its 8-core, 1900 MHz, ARM Cortex-A57 and ARM Cortex-A53 processor and 3072 MB RAM.

Battery

Note 4 also has bigger battery capacity with 2800mAh as against s5's 3220 mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 vs. Samsung Galaxy s5: Will you stick to smartphone or will you go for phablet? If you want better specs, evidently, you should go for Note 4 as it has faster processor, higher battery capacity, chic design (compared to s5), and others.
