CNBLUE bassist Lee Jung Shin takes his first acting role in the KBS drama 'My Daughter So Young.'
Lee Jung Shin will play the role of Kang Sung Jae, a boy who has the lowest grades in his school but knows how to dress well. He also has a one-sided crush on his private teacher Lee Bo Young.
Lee Jung Shin revealed, "Having watched many different dramas since I was little, I have always been interested in acting. I have never missed out on my CNBLUE members' filming in order to become used to it. Since I have always had the desire to act, I readied myself for any opportunity that might come my way."
In July, Lee Jung Shin had made a cameo appearance in 'Unexpected You (aka My Husband Got A Family),' which was a drama that his member Kang Min Hyuk had been filming for. He played the role of Bang Mal Sook's (played by Oh Yeon Seo) boyfriend. Although out of the group CNBLUE Lee Jung Shin is the latest to act, he has a huge determination.
Lee Jung Shin continued, "I have many similar characteristics with Kang Sung Jae. I am also the youngest in my family but I also have a lot of aegyo. I think I have to show my mother in the drama (played by Kim Hye Ok) a lot of aegyo too. All of the dramas that my members were in were really popular. Just working with all the senior actors is such a great opportunity and I hope that this drama would became a nationwide drama that reaches over a 40% viewer rating."
'My Daughter So Young' is a drama about the love and reconciliation between a father and daughter and is to air its first episode on the 15th of September.
