"The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4 has been eagerly awaited for quite some time now. Avid players of the game are actually believing for the worst after the release date has been delayed this year.

Reports originally stated a June 2014 release, but that did not happen. New reports are suggesting a December 2014 release could be underway, but Bethesda and ZeniMax have not confirmed anything. New reports are now hinting at the possibility that a release date update might be given at the PlayStation Experience Event on Dec 6-7. While these speculations are not confirmed, it could be a possibility.

Fans only have to wait and see.

Meanwhile, the official Twitter account of TESO has assured fans that they're working hard on the console versions and that they will definitely share more information in time. The vague reponse has pacified some curious fans, but has also left some wanting for more.

The subscription-based MMO has been receiving a lot of flak from the gaming community, and the unconfirmed "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4 updates seem to fan the flame even more.

However, the game proved that its beaming ray of hope could actually lie on the gamers who actually PAY to play the game online. And recent reports claim that they're quite an impressive number.

Game Rant reported, "According to SuperData, an analysis firm that releases an annual report on the state of the MMO market, The Elder Scrolls has been very successful for ZeniMax Online Studios and Bethesda. As of this writing, their subscriber numbers chart somewhere around 772,374, which is very good for an MMO that was thought to be D.O.A. But it appears the game is doing just fine, and has even expanded its reach to Steam within the last week."

"On top of strong subscriber numbers, The Elder Scrolls Online's average revenue per user is actually ascending - a surprising stat given the state of subscription-based MMOs. In fact, revenue for subscription-based MMOs with microtransactions has been on the rise as a whole, up from 14% to 27% over the last five years."

Apart from "The Elder Scrolls Online" release date for Xbox One and PS4, Bethesda has been busy with its loyalty program. For the 6th month loyalty award, "a shiny new shipment of Loyal Dwarven Spheres are rolling into mailboxes all around Tamriel."

"This rare and mysterious companion will raise more than a few eyebrows at the local tavern. Expect questions-and make sure you have a good tale ready to tell! We'll continue to add new surprises to the ESO Loyalty Program in the future, so keep exploring Tamriel and reap the rewards! We're glad to have heroes like you in the community," an article on the official TESO site explained.
